A merry new wave year to all. I'm so glad that my blog site is still up and running. I would like to thank God for all the blessings last year. You kept me alive and far from harm.

Now the holiday's over. Its back to work tomorrow. Its going to be a hard day's night once again at tassenberg close.

The Immortals

Last night my brother and i had a small bonding. We watched this movie at east rand mall. Sadly to say, we were disappointed on this film. Nothing comes close to "300"

In fact, i would level this film with the remake of "Clash of the Titans" which was released on 3D. Mickey Rourke's performance was good for a bad guy. He is king Hyperion. And lead star Henry Cavill - portrays Theseus. Both actors delivered the mythological characters to life very well. The only problem is.. That the movie lacks tempo and there are many dull moments in the film.

Riley "the anthology" dvd

Another Riley' dvd is out now. The Anthology covers 1 to 8 months. Its the sequel to "the life of riley" Its loaded with hilarious pictures, superb sountrack and wacky videos of little riley during the past eight months. From February to October. Riley fans won't be disappointed watching this dvd. Sit back and enjoy. Have yourself a laugh and a merry little christmas...with Riley

My sister in law was cremated today @ Hindu Crematorium in Brixton Cemetery, Braamfontein. The journey to the unknown begins. Peace be with you ate yolly. Forget time. Forgive life, No yesterdays, no tomorrows. No more sorrows. Good-bye. Hope springs eternal.

Sudden Death

Last friday, my wife and i almost spent the whole day @ donald gordon medical centre in joburg. We were there around 10a.m. ~ and the chemotherapy ended almost 3:30pm. Driving back home tired and weary is my wife.. So we slept early. Then around 2am saturday july 16. There's a phone call. My wife answered. A very very sad news.. Her older sister just died. The cause of death i think is heart related.. Must have been a massive heart failure. On the picture (left side) was her 11yr.old daughter. Goodbye ate yolly. You will be missed...a lot.

My wife's HTC Desire Z

As a replacement for my wife's aging Nokia 6500 slide phone. This is the HTC desire Z. Boasting with a Z-hinge style keyboard. An Android version 2.2 and a surprising 800mhrtz. processor. It comes with an 8gig external memory too. The start-up booting process, was fast. Beating my galaxy s. The back cover was solid aluminium and the phone is quite bulky. Overall, its a pretty decent phone in the market, that offers touch-screen capabilities and hands on keyboard experience.
Good points > fast reboot
> 5mp camera with Flash
> AMOLED screen
> qwerty keypad
> solid built finish
> battery life
Bad points > no program monitor widget
> lots of background apps running
> quite bulky
> no user's manual on box
> no cd software on box
You have to download an application killer, in the market. Or something like a 3g watchdog - to monitor your data usage. Because smartphones are data intensive.
